I have two WordPress pages that I would like to delete (I’ve provided a link to one of the pages I intend to delete). They are duplicate pages that I made with the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin. They’re a bit different now from the pages they duplicate, but the pages appear to be the same when looking at the WP dashboard and I don’t want to confuse the person I’m building the site for – they’ll see duplicate pages with the same name and not know which page is the current one. What is the best way to delete the duplicate pages without creating any SEO issues? Or is this something I don’t actually need to worry about? Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ksmco

If you’re currently building the website, there is nothing to worry about.
You should review SEO things once you finish building the website.
That’s why I’d recommend you to use some maintenance page.

Let me know if you need more details ??
    Thank you!

Many thanks. I’ve actually finished the site and it’s in use as of last week (previously it was set to staging.flatirionsxrayservices.com). At this point, should I just delete the unnecessary pages as intended and check what’s happening with the SEO going forward?

Yes removal of the page would be completely fine ??

If you want to be 100% sure about SEO, you can set simple redirect
