Should I update past posts after installing WordPress SEO?

  • I recently moved to self hosted from WordPress.com

    I’ve installed WordPress SEO plugin from Yoast and am utilizing it for new post writing.

    Should I go back and enter keywords and meta descriptions and then check my SEO on past published posts and possibly tweak them?

    Or is it just a make work project at this point?

    How will it improve my SEO given that these posts go back to March 2014?
    I have about 35 to ‘clean-up’.

  • Good blog posts show up in search results for years. Take a little time to go back and tweak the posts. By the time you’ve done 35, you’ll be thoroughly expert with using the plugin!
