Yestserday I uploaded the new version of Woocommerce, after it was finished I got a blank page with ‘Please Install and Activate Woocommerce Plugin.’ I can’t access anything but this page.

I have put out a call to help on many sites, but to to avail. Tried many ‘self help’ options but can’t seem to fix it.

My question… If I reload a fresh copy of WP through my FTP, am I going to lose all the work I’ve done on the site the past month?

PS: I did actually reload a backup copy from a couple days before I updated woo commerce, but that didn’t correct the problem either. Weird!

Do you have FTP access? If you rename your “plugins” folder to “plugins-old”, and then rename it back afterwards, all of your plugins will automatically deactivate (assuming you’re having a plugin issue).

Wow Andrew! thank you so much for taking the time to respond- that did the trick!!! I found out which plug-in it was and fixed the problem.

I really appreciate the help. I come from a Dreamweaver background so WordPress is still a bit foreign to me.

    Take care!
