Should I migrate to a multisite?

  • I have a website that includes profiles of agents. Each agents profile is a single post. Currently there are 86 agent profiles. I am expanding the content of these profiles so now each agents profile will be a total of 7 pages.

    I attempted to accomplish this by utilizing my theme, Avada, tabs feature. This would of allowed me put all the content on the single post and not have to create different navigation per agent. Unfortunately I need to be able to anchor link content within the tab and the Avada tabs do not allow it. After several days of rewriting js to try to make the anchor feature work in the tabs I have given up.

    Now I realize I will have to go the more traditional route of Navigation linked to individual posts/pages. This means 87 different menus and 602 pages. I want to keep this as clean as possible on the back end so would multisite be the way to go?

    if you list your agents by alphabetic letter then you only need 26 menu items. 602 pages is a bit excessive so you could create a page for each agent and then in the top of the page create small menu with anchored links down the page to the different sections of the agent’s details.
