Should I configure OceanWp or Elementor?

    Hi everybody,
    I started creating a new site by telling myself that this time I was going to favour the configuration of my OceanWp theme (free version) rather than that of the Elementor page builder (free version too).
    I started by choosing my global colours and typography in the OceanWP settings. Then I set up the Elementor plugin (from WordPress) and chose to give priority to the theme data.
    But the first time I used Elementor, when I wanted to check its configuration, the colours and typography chosen from the theme had simply been ignored.
    Is this normal? Have I forgotten to change a parameter? Should the two parts be configured independently? Where could the bug be?
