Should Google have a counter too, or not?

Hi,
I wanted to check whether Google+ should also have a counter.

I have Google+ shares (I know, I tried one myself) but for the life of me I can’t work out why it isn’t showing the counter.
So my thoughts are: IS THERE A COUNTER for Google+ or maybe there’s none and I spent all my time worrying for nothing ??
If anybody can shed a light on this that’d be super.
Great plugin other than this!!
