Should DSN be on or off for MySQL database at Godaddy

    I am planning to start a blog hosted at Godaddy.com.
    When I try to create a MySQL database I get a this form to fill in.
    There is an option for DSN, should this be turned on or off for WordPress to function properly?

    I am totally new to the domain of WordPress, and not from a programing background, my apology if it’s a ‘dumb’ question .
    But I would still be glad if someone helps me about this.

    I have Googled it several times but cant find anything about DSN related to WordPress.

    Is there any one who could help about above?

    Turn it off. DSN is used to connect to a db using an OBDC driver. You turn this on if you are using a .Net app or asp to connect to a mysql database.

    When using php or perl scripts you don’t need this on.
