I had to disable short pixel for you site to run.

Same here. I have the following fatal error, after uploading the short pixel plugin. Now I can’t restore my backup on Siteground and I can’t log in. This is an example of page with error: https://zerotodrum.com/best-double-bass-pedal/. Please help, thanks

I have had a reply from ShortPixel and I quote:
    Hi Rocky,

Thanks for your message; sorry to hear about this issue! ??

It seems the issue is showing up on sites where the plugins are automatically updated and somehow is picking up an older version of one file which is still there, without being removed as it should, resulting in errors.

Could you please completely delete the plugin folder from cPanel or some file manager (or wp-admin if it’s still accessible), then install again the latest SPIO version?

I uninstalled and then installed again. Problem no longer exists. I asked them if they would be fixing this and had the following reply:-
    Hi Rocky,

The fix was already pushed into WordPress SVN so this should not happen again.

I should have mentioned that I first renamed the plugin via FTP. This allowed me to get into the backend.

I received the same email. I fixed the problem, by deleting the plugin folder from Cpanel. Of course, I’ve done a backup before, and I then restored the backup. Then I installed the plugin again, and it’s working now!
