Shortcode atts and strtolower

  • Is there a particular reason that shortcode attributes have their case overriden? I see advantages to maintaining case but not to ignoring it.

    For example, say I have a shortcode that ultimately runs some Javascript and I’m passing attributes that will end up in an array of settings to a JS function that may be case-sensitive.

    Thoughts from devs?
