Shortlinks option

Hi,
I am using jetpack shortlinks to copy regular post to our Facebook site. Jetpack doesn’t interact with the Events post. Is there a way (other than another plugin) to have the calendar events show shortlinks? Thought maybe there was and I just overlooked it.
