Shortening yes, but new additions? no.

  • It does shorten the column. A bit clunky. But after a number of tries any plugin added is not automatically visible in the menu, but is visible / reachable only after deactivating this plugin. Some work to be done there.

    I’m sorry for the confusion. Whenever you activate a plugin which adds something to the menu, you need to go back in and re-edit the menu for the relevant User Roles that you’d made customizations for. This will then show a “New Items” pop-over to indicate that there are items not added to your customizations that are from a newly activated plugin.

    I can understand that this may seem annoying, but if you’re using Client Dash to customize the Menu for a less privileged role (Such as Editor) a plugin with loose permissions automatically adding a new menu item for them may be undesirable. I’ll look into trying making this optional in a future release
