Shortening description in events list

    Is there perhaps a variable in one of the scripts for character length I could alter?

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Unless you hand-craft post excerpts for each event these excerpts are simply generated automatically, by WordPress itself. So you might want to explore the Codex here and look at filtering excerpts.

    I am not completely sure I understand what you mean. Can you explain in simpler terms?
