Shorten Titles in Recent Post Widget

  • I have placed my Recent Posts Widget into a smaller div than a standard side bar and I need to be able to shorten the titles so that they don’t screw up the layout.

    I saw another post about this and tried the code (which somehow broke my site)

    So does anyone know if there is a plugin now for this or the best way to do this?
