Shortcodes won't work with plain installation?

    Hopefully I can get some help here my experience with this product so far has been horrible. I simply just installed this product and the example view books page shows nothing but a shortcode in text. This was also happening when i tried creating a page and inserting the shortcode. The shortcodes don’t seem to work and just show the text. Any ideas? This is also a clean install of WordPress with nothing else installed, i even just upgraded and it’s still broken.     I’m not sure where you downloaded it from, but you seem to have a very outdated version. The [mbt_booktable] shortcode hasn’t existed for a long time, I would recommend upgrading to version 1.1.4. Please let me know if you’re still having trouble after updating.
