Shortcodes? what server functions do they need?

  • Hi,

    I’ve just moved 6 fully working sites to a new VPS and found that some of the plugins don’t now work. The main one I use on most of my site is AZindex and all this need is a shortcode on a page – something like [index1]

    These are now not working on any site so I’m assuming some server function is not enabled, perhaps a php function ? can anyone tell me what that may be ?

  • That is going to depend completely upon the individual shortcode.

    As I said it’s AZindex plugin.

    These functions are disabled on the server, anyone know if any of these should be enabled for wordpress ?

    Try posting in the Plugins forum or asking that plugin’s developer.
