Shortcodes, Pricing tables and load time

  • Hi

    Will using a shortcode like [box]some content[/box] be faster or slower loading than if you could do the same with <div class=”some-css-class”>Some content</div>

    Also I would like to know if Pricing Tables is slowing down load time, I have this article https://www.tapetplus.dk/sandspartel with quite a lot of pricing tables in it, and I am not sure if this is the fastest solution, is there a better way?

  • Parsing shorcodes it pretty quick depending on what the call back function does. If it is mainly styling and not database queries you should be fine.

    Your site loads fine for me and nothing looks unusual or to be causing a slow down.

    If you have javascript content , that is what might slow down the page load else it should be fine.
