Shortcodes not working in Elementor footer?

    Hey – thanks for such a great plugin, this is going to save me tons of time.

    I am noticing, however, that when I try to put a shortcode in the Footer of my site (i use Elementor for the entire site including the footer) that the shortcode just shows as plain text and does not update to what the shortcode should be.

    Nevermind I actually figured it out.

    If you’re having the issue, here’s what I did. Changed the header field to be filled in dynamically and chose “shortcode” from the list.

    I need to add a shortcode after a text in my footer on https://missionsarzt.de, so I cannot replace it with dynamic content. But shortcodes do not work there! How to fix that?

    @planetshaker Can you please explain how you are placing the widget ?

    I take this

    [borlabs-cookie type=”btn-cookie-preference” title=”Lorem ipsum”/]

    and put it in a shortcode widget from elementor.

    While on the content part it works, on the footer it doesn’t.

    Hi @planetshaker,

    This thread is related to the shortcodes created with “shortcoder” plugin.

    Looks like the shortcode you have pasted is not created with shortcoder.
    Can you please check with borlabs plugin team about this ?

    Ah. I see. I already did, it’s not their fault – seems like in Elementor footer no shortcode is being executed.

    Just searched for it on google and found this thread.
