In the password reset email the shortcodes {first_name} {last_name} {customer_name} display nothing.

In the account created email the same happens. And {user_password} also shows blank, so there is no way for users to log into their account created during checkout, as they do not know their password!

    Please help! Thank you

    Hi,

    1. These shortcodes {first_name} {last_name} {customer_name} are not used for the reset password email.

    2. I checked again on my site. The shortcode {user_password} works normally.
In fact, there are 2 ways to create new accounts: During Checkout process or Registration form on My account page.

+ If through the Registration form, please make sure you activate the registration forum of WooCommerce (Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Account and Privacy, enable the “Allow customers to create an account on the “My account” page”

+ If you set auto-create a new account during checkout, so there will be a link URL leading to reset the password.

Please use all available and valid templates of this plugin to use the shortcodes.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

I have all these settings set correctly, but when users create an account during checkout, the {first_name} {last_name} {customer_name} {user_password} fields still remains blank in the account created email.

Do you have any further advice?
    Many thanks

    Hi,

We are sorry for the late reply.
Please use the available shortcode used for new account emails: {user_login}; {user_password} they will be used even a new account is created by registering on the site or from the checkout process.
These shortcodes: {first_name} {last_name} {customer_name} are not used in this email type.

    Best regards.

    Thanks for your reply,

Unfortunately, these are the shortcodes I have used, yet this still does not work. The shortcode {user_password} is returned blank.

    Hey,
I have the same problem (with the new account e-mail) so the user name isnt picked up.
    How can we solve this?
