    Hi,
I’ve created a referral process where signups through Ultimate Members become referrals for registered affiliates.

I need the logged in users to see the following:

The referrer at the top of the page. I used [referrer_user display=”display_name”]
A unique website link that belongs to that referrer. [referrer_user display=user_url]

This was working like a charm, but then suddenly it stopped working with no changes to the settings that I’m aware of. The short codes would just appear blank. Please help! I need to launch in 3 days.

    Thanks!
    Roy

Just a quick update. I created a quick test page with basically all the shortcodes. So far, only Registration, login and blog info work. Looks like every shortcode that is user specific is no longer working. Maybe a user setting I unwittingly updated? Thoughts?

One More update. I tested on another website (same bluehost account) and it doesn’t work there either. I’m out of ideas. Looking forward to your response. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been able to narrow this down to not being able to display the direct affiliate even when using direct=”true”

    Hi,

I’ve just noticed your topic and hope this still comes in time for you.

In the examples you give, you seem to be using slanted double quotes to enclose the attribute values. But you must use straight double quotes " otherwise the shortcodes won’t take them.

This seems to happen when automatic replacement is used on some machines (it’s not even related to the WordPress editor itself but the input method).

    Cheers
