Shortcodes not being parsed after update

    If you’re upgrading to 8.2.2 from a much older version of Connections (sorry, I didn’t keep track of what version ours was) and find your shortcodes aren’t working, here’s what I discovered:

    [connections_list category=5]

    must be changed to

    [connections category=5]

    and everything’s fine.

    I inherited an installation of Connections and had never worked with it, so wasn’t aware of this apparent change.

    Yes, the [connections_list] shortcode was deprecated roughly 4 years ago and mention of it was removed from the documentation at the same time it was deprecated. It continued to work until it support for it was removed in Feb 2014.
