I want to place a custom shortcode into the top bar content. However, when going through the appearance/customise section, it only seems to accept a limited number of oceanwp shortcodes.

I’ve got around this by enabling the top bar content, then adding the required function straight into the top bar content.php. But this isn’t ideal, and I’ll have to redo it each time the theme updates.

So is there a way to add shortcodes straight into the top bar content that I’m missing?

(Thanks for a great theme by the way – my go-to theme for every new site!)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

You can create a template via Theme Panel > My library, and edit the template with elementor, add your shortcode.
After done with the template, assign that template to the topbar from Appearance > Customize > Topbar > Content, and select template.
