Shortcodes in Excerpts

    Hi!

    I use shortcodes from the “Ultimate Shortcode”-Plugin in the beginning of a post
    the shortcodes are interpreted in the excerpt and by that I get a very long entry on the blog-page

    I know that I can create a separate excerpt for that post, but I just would like to know if this is a WP-feature or an Apex-feature?
