Shortcodes for religious page

    Hello Dave:

    I am helping create a religious website. On the main page they want to display the reading of the day. In order to maximize their time, they want to have one or two weeks of content worked ahead of time. I am trying to work it out and I am afraid I don’t know how.

    Here is what I am trying to do:

    I am trying to show the reading of the day from 2am to 2am for everyday.

    [time-restrict on=”2016-08-26 02:00:00″ off=”2016-08-26 02:00:00″]reading day 1[/time-restrict]
    [time-restrict on=”2016-08-27 02:00:00″ off=”2016-08-27 02:00:00″]reading day 2[/time-restrict]
    [time-restrict on=”2016-08-28 02:00:00″ off=”2016-08-28 02:00:00″]reading day 3[/time-restrict]

    and so on. What do I need to correct here?

    There’s just one issue with your logic: you’re turning each element on and off at the same time. Instead, change off to one day forward in each case, so that each item shows for a full 24 hours before the next one takes over.
