Shortcodes doesn’t work

    Hi guys!

    I’m running UM on site and everything was fine until now. One of clients alerted me that he can’t access content (visible to his role) , and when I checked, there seams to be a problem with shortcodes. They just don’t “respect” roles. Me, as um_admin and administrator can access all the content, but clients with um_custom_role just can’t.

    How it looks like on page:

  • Is there any chance that the um_custom_role exists with different capitalization? I had a problem where I used um_Rolename instead of um_rolename in my code and it failed. Don’t know if that’s what’s happening to you, but I thought I’d mention it! Best of luck to you.

    No, there is no chance. I’ve copied roles, so for such typo can’t don’t make a problem.

    Everything worked just fine for about 2 years, until few days ago :/ That’s why I find this problem weird :/

    Hi @boyann,

    Can you please try to remove other user roles from your shortcode and try to test it with one user role.
    I don’t see this issue on our test site.

    I’m sorry, I had a little time to solve this and did a restore, and now it does work as earlier.
    If it appears again, I’ll try that way.

    Thank you so much for really quick response. I really appreciate it.

    One more thing, is it, somehow, dependable on load-scripts.php? I found some issue on website (snippet added by cerber security to htaccess, which is uninstalled due to conflicts with other plugin and snippet was still there), but other shortcodes work fine, and only UM’s didn’t.
