Shortcodes

  • Hi, I am using Elementor Page Builder so I need the actual shortcode(s) to display my portfolio. Please help. I am not getting your PM icon in the text editor within Elementor Page Builder.

    Dear Osandigital,

    Thanks for using the Portfolio Manager.

    The text editors like Elementor have their own Editors, and they do not use the default Editor provided by WordPress. That’s the reason you won’t see Portfolio Manager, or any other icons that might be added by other plugins in the Elementor Editor.

    A simple workaround here would be:

    1. Go to WordPress Backend and click on Add new post.

    2. Now you should see default WordPress editor with Portfolio Manager icon.
    Generate you Shortcode using that.

    3. Copy the Shortcode and delete this post.

    4. Now where ever you want to add this code, just add an Elementor’s Text Editor widget and Paste the Shortcode from Step 3 there.

    This should add the Project(s) to you post/page.
