    are you sure you are posting on the right plugin forum? My plugin ‘shortcodes’ widgets – it doesn’t widgetise shortcodes.

    Why not just put the pagination shortcode where you want it?

    If I’ve missed what it is you are trying to achieve perhaps this other plugin is what you want ? No recommendation intended, but it sounds like what you might want – widgetise a shortcode so that you can then shortcode the widgetised shortcode [I can’t believe i just typed that!]
