  • Ah, this is because the free version does not support shortcodes. You’ll have to use the widget in order to display project information.

Alternatively, you’ll have access to all of the shortcodes if you purchase a license.

    Thanks!

Is there somewhere I can see what the shortcodes do – examples/screenshots etc? Or do you offer a free evaluation trial? I’m trying to evaluate the product.

We don’t have a list w/ screenshots, though that’s a good idea. Could you tell me what you’re trying to achieve? Perhaps I could use that to point you to a resource.

    Thanks!

Basically, I have a client who already has a wp theme (so we wouldn’t be using the themes that come with the plugin). I need to understand what kind of effort is required to create a page similar to the Project page you see in the 500 theme – with the description fields and various levels of donations and the video and all that jazz, if we are not using that theme. Do the shortcodes provide something similar to the project page I see if I use your theme? Do they bring back data naked, and we’d need to do custom css formatting? Can you show me an example of how the shortcodes display on a regular wp theme, like 2014?

We have a shortcode that exists, that rolls everything out in a neat and organized manner, called [project_page_complete product=”#”]. This makes something that looks like this https://theme500.com/framework/sample-shortcode/ – putting the video in, the social buttons, the long description, and the Deck on the right hand side.

We then have a quick ‘how to’ on making your project page automatically use and display the results of this shortcode here: https://ignitiondeck.com/id/documentation/ignitiondeck-crowdfunding/customizing-ignitiondeck/custom-project-post-template/

And you can preview what our Skins look like here: https://ignitiondeck.com/id/ignitiondeck-skins/

    Thanks, that is very helpful.
