• First, I love the SiteOrigin widgets! Easy to use and so far I haven’t had any issues except for one and it’s kind of a big one.

I am testing a passworded site protection plug-in for my site that requires inserting a restricted access shortcode that wraps all of a page. As long as I work in the Text mode and update while in text mode, the restricted shortcode works. When I “convert” the page to the Live View Editor, the shortcode wrapper gets automatically removed from the proper location and gets put into its own Editor widget in a new row at the bottom of the page. It no longer wraps the intended content. This breaks any restricted access I may have on the page.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

This is probably more of a SiteOrigin page builder issue than one of our widgets. Have you tried contacting the authors of the SiteOrigin page builder plugin regarding this? Does this happen with SiteOrigin widgets bundle widgets as well or is it specific to our plugin widgets alone? At present I am assuming this will happen regardless of which widget you use.
