Shortcode with 'get_the_excerpt' messes up rest of page after being called!

Hi,

I have this page, in which I call a shortcode: [get-latest-post].
That shortcode uses get_the_excerpt in it (amongst other WordPress functions).

When the shortcode is being called in that page, the remaining of the page (content after the shortcode) is not formatted properly (not formatted at all actually).

Do I have to do something after that shortcode is being called to ‘reset’ the formatting?

In my understanding, it’s like get_the_excerpt disables the ‘the_content’ filter, but never reenables it after the shortcode is done.
