Shortcode Usage Hinders Cloudflare Server’s Image Output in Posts

  • Hi Anton,

    first, I would like to thank you for your great plugin. It helps me a lot.

    If a shortcode is used in the post, the image is not output via the Cloudflare server.

    I use this shortcode: [ipd src=”https://example.com/wp-content/uploads/example.jpg” alt=”ALT TEXT”]

    (The “&#8221” is not part of it on my website.)

    Is there a solution for this?

  • Is not ideal, but you could adjust the ipd shortcode function to allow passing a media library ID, then process that lookup.

    I believe that the transformation from site media library URL happens if you use get_post_thumbnail_url(). I am still testing this myself
