Shortcode unavailable – WordPress 5.0.2

    I have recently purchased and installed the Dannci ‘Sport Club’ theme which includes the WP Club Manager plugin. Having installed WordPress and setup the website, when adding scores, matches, results etc. in to a page the shortcode buttons in the WP editor fields do not work (i.e. they appear, you can click them, but nothing happens).

    Other than using the plugin through the editor, all else seems to be ok. I have tried installing the ‘Classic Editor’ plugin, but the shortcode buttons then disappear completely. I have tested this in Chrome 71 and Safari 12.

    Has the plugin been tested with the WP V5? Any ideas when the plugin will be fully operational with the latest WordPress installation, or if you believe it already is, what I could troubleshoot this end to resolve the issue?
