  • I think it is just bad wording on the form.

    You just use Filter Option, Categories and select the category you want.

    It is a selection of what you want to display (include) rather than a filter of what you don’t want (exclude) to show.

    The text “Choose your desired categories for filtering the events.” should be revised to something, like “Choose the categories you want the shortcode to display.”

    OK Got it. Thanks. You have to create an event and give it the category you want to use. Then after you create the shortcode with that category filter you can go back and edit the event to a different category and then it won’t display.

    Now if there was only an easier way to change the “No event found!” message without having to use the translation plugin.
    Is there a template file where it can be edited?
