Shortcode to display single product

    Hi

    I’am trying to embed a single product from the list of products in a post.

    I’ve tried this [pg_sas_shop category=”books”] but this shows all the products under category books.

    I tried this [pg_sas_shop category=”books” id=”782″] but this does not show anything. Where id is the product id from the shop page in settings.

    Kindly let me know the correct shortcode to display a single product in a post/page from a category.

    Hi avil,
    There is a helper to let you add a single product to a page or a category etc.
    It is the little icon that you can see at the end of the icon list when you are using the visual editor. It looks the same as the icon in the Products menu (a little cash register).
    So….
    Create a new page or post, add your text and then place the cursor where you want the single product to appear, then use the helper to create the shortcode for you and it will add it to your post/page.
