Shortcode suddenly not working

  • Hi,

    I have a shortcode – [list-themes] – that is suddenly no longer working, as in the available themes are not displaying. Maybe this shortcode has been deprecated?

    WordPress 5.8.1
    PHP 7.4
    mariaDB 10.4

    What plugin provides that shortcode? If it’s your own, please post the code on a gist or pastebin.

    I inherited the site and I don’t see the term, [list_themes], when I search the site code. Checking with the original developer.

    Original developer does not remember which plugin provided the [list_themes] shortcode. Is there an easy way to find out?

    The [list_themes] code does not show up at all when I search the repo.

    install the plugin “string locator” and search for “add_shortcode”.

    But if that shortcode is showing up as plain text on your site, it’s either not defined or defined in an inactive or deleted plugin.
