Shortcode Stopped Working in Widget

My events list shortcode recently stopped working in my Custom HTML widget displaying in my right sidebar.
This same shortcode is working on my homepage in an Elementor shortcode block.[ecs-list-events limit='3' thumb='true']Theme: BuddyBoss
The Events Calendar Version 5.1.6
The Events Calendar Shortcode & Block Version 2.4I’ve looked through your article on common issues & none of them fixed it.

Hi @megseoh !
I believe it would work in a Custom HTML widget before, but now it doesn’t seem to be. Have you tried using a Text widget instead? You can see an example of this on one of our blog posts here:
