• I created a number of pages to showcase different link libraries by placing the respective shortcodes in the text field under Edit Page in the WordPress backend. This is how it appears on one of the pages in the frontend: https://parentsguide.asia/enrichment-programme-providers

However, it seems like the shortcode has replaced the page URL in the backend with random links from the library. When I click “edit” for the Enrichment Programme Providers page, it opens up the Edit Page, but the permalink is changed (see screenshot of Edit Page at https://imgur.com/a/UKd46It). This happened to all the pages using shortcodes.

As I am unable to access the shortcode anymore, I cannot figure out how to resolve this issue. Please advise. Thanks!

I am using Link Library Version 6.7.12, running on WordPress 5.5.3

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Sorry for the long time before getting back to you. It is normal for the permalink to get changed for links to include the category that they are assigned to. That being said, this should not modify the page on which you using the [link-library] shortcode.

The page permalinks are only used when you want to use the shortcode on a page, then have the links of that page go internal pages with more details about these links before going out to an external site. This is not the common use case with Link Library users.

Most users just create links, then put the [link-library] shortcode on a page and it displays their links. Visitors then click on the links and go to other sites.

I am not sure what you mean by not being able to access the shortcode anymore. Did it disappear from the page where you put it? Did the page disappear?
