Shortcode randomly fails

    Hi!

    Am using camptix for a student prom signup (charity-work). For me it seems to work just fine.. I love the simplicity of it all and had I a little more free time I’d work on a new payment method for it as well.

    My issue is tho that one of the people whose going to administer the site experiences that the shortcode fails randomly.. it just outputs the shortcode in plain text. I’ve triple-checked the paypal settings and the shortcode. I’ve tried it myself in every browser and mac/pc but cant replicate the problem.

    Is there any one else experiencing this? Any ideas?
    It’s being used in sweden with swedish krona as currency which is supported by paypal and the plugin. I’m using the latest version of both wordpress and camptix.

    Can you ask that person to provide more information about what’s happening? I think the only time I seen the shortcode displayed as plain text is when the PayPal API credentials (and sandbox mode) are misconfigured.

    Basically this:

    1. The tickets are shown just fine. He can choose a ticket and proceed to the next step .
    2. The form is shown just fine as well as the table displaying the ticket he’s chosen. He can input everything in the form, the dropdown with “paypal” in it is showing as well as the button to checkout.
    3. When clicking the checkout button the page reloads and it only shows the heading and the shortcode in plain text: https://d.pr/i/u8CX

    This was all yesterday. Today this happens when he clicks the order-button from the first stage (after chosing a number of ticket).

    They’re using the plugin Under construction which is on the list of plugins malfunctioning with Jigoshop, is it possible it affects camptix as well?

    Can you ask him to disable all plugins (except CampTix), activate the default theme and try again?

    I’ve disabled all plugins except camptix and advanced custom fields (which I’ve used on over 50 sites and never had issues with). The issue remains.. You can actually try it yourself here if you like!

    I managed to replicate the error myself now but only when I choose one ticket of each ticket-type.

    Aftersome more trials it seems this isssue is with only “med alkohol” ticket type

    Okay, yeah I see that. What is the difference between the two ticket types? Is it possible to provide me with an admin account so that I could go in and take a look around? It would really help, my e-mail is kovshenin at gmail dot com, and I understand if you choose not to ??
