Shortcode product description

I’ve performed some cross-testing on one of my staging sites and have noticed that the snippet you shared worked quite well. This is how the short description appears on the on sale product page using the shortcode and here’s the single product page.

From what you describe the issue could be likely caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. Read more about plugin and theme conflicts in our Self-Service Guide.

If the conflict test makes no difference, please consider installing an extension like Product Description on Shop Page which claims to display the product short description on shop, category, and other listing pages.
