Shortcode path Issue

Hello. I cannot seem to use the Public Root Path that I changed in Settings when I use shortcode on a page, no matter what I put in the path parameter. When I use the path D:/Documents it shows fine when I go to ‘File Manager’ from the menu, but says ‘Invalid backend configuration. Readable volumes not available’ when on a page with the shortcode. Please help. Thanks.
