Shortcode outside the content

Hello,
in my theme, I want to create slider with photos added to post, and content of post below them. To do it I want to create a shortcode to get all images and display them outside the_content(). Is this possible?
I want to have something like this

[slideshow]
<img src=”#” alt=”#”/>
<img src=”#” alt=”#”/>
<img src=”#” alt=”#”/>
[/slideshow]

and display it
–| nav |–
————–
–| slideshow |–
–| actual post content without images from slideshow |–
————–
–| footer |–

I would be very thankfull for any ideas you’ve got for solving my problems
