Shortcode : Order E-mail Address on Customer Order Form

Hi David,

Do you mean that you included those shortcodes (i.e. [order-email] and [order-notes]) in the body of an email that you created in the “Emails” tab? If so, then what happens when the email is received? Does it just display the actual shortcode text (i.e. “[order-email]”) in the email or does it come up blank.

Yep I included those shortcodes in the body of an email which in “Emails” tab.
The result for [order-email] just display actual shortcode,
and for [order-notes] it just blank.

any idea whats going on there?
I need that data to be send in the email

Sorry we didn’t pick up on it after your first message, but [order-email] is not an available shortcode for the emails. Where did you see [order-email]? In the “Emails” tab it says the following:

You can put [order-name], [order-number], [order-status], [order-notes], [customer-notes] and [order-time] into the message, to include current order name, order number, order status, public order notes or the time the order was updated.

For the [order-notes] showing up blank, we just tested and it seems to be working correctly. Is there anything inserted in the “Public Order Notes” field for your order?
