    views/my_courses.php
    but the same file is used for the “my courses” page inside the dashboard.

    Great, I changed it.
    re your comment on ‘same file…’ so far fseems ok – the student goes into the dashboard with assignments – I’ve plugged up dashboard access using a plugin to minimize their confusion ?? but am still testing the flow.
