Shortcode not working in PopUp

    Hi there,

    I’ve been using this plugin for a while with no problems. All the popups on my site contain shortcode, so that they can be animated using Adobe Edge Animate. Usually this is okay, but recently the popups have been appearing blank.

    I tried placing the same shortcode in a page and the animation worked fine. And I know the plugin is working otherwise, as I can add a line of text which shows up. I’m not sure if this is an issue caused by the PopUp plugin, or from updating WordPress.

    Does the PopUp plugin (free version) support shortcode? Here’s the test-page I’m using to troubleshoot:

    It contains the PopUp with the shortcode and a test sentence. You can see the sentence, but the animation doesn’t show up. You can see the animation on the same page, using the same shortcode, which works fine.

    I hope you are well today and thanks for posting on the forum.

    Have you tried using different pop loading method from the following path?

    Admin Area -> PopUp -> Settings

    Make sure you are using latest version of WordPress PopUp plugin.

    I have tested on my test site using the default gallery shortcode and “WordPress AJAX” pop up loading method, it worked fine without any issue.

    Could you please check whether the following default WordPress Gallery shortcode works for you in the pop up?

    Hi, WPMU.

    You are right, Gallery shortcode is working.
    But for custom modules – does not.

    For example – Form Maker module shortcodes does not work.
    E.g. [Form id=”11″]

    But is it possible to execute any shortcode in Your popup?
    I think, this is module-specific.
