Shortcode not working in PageBuilder

  • I have an issue with a shortcode not appearing on a site I’m working on. My clients use this shortcode a lot, it’s a RewardStyle shortcode that looks something like this:

    [show_shopthepost_widget id=”12345678″]

    I was all set to start using PageBuilder, but if this shortcode doesn’t work it may be a dealbreaker for a majority of the clients I work on.

    I’ve done some research and I’ve even tried using the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget as some have mentioned with no luck.

    I’m not seeing any errors, the area where this shortcode should display is just blank/empty.

    I know the shortcode works because I test it on another post that doesn’t use PageBuilder and just insert it into the content window and it displays on the front end.

    Any ideas on how to get this to work?

    Hi @mctenold,

    I just came across your question yesterday, having the same issue and I’ve figured out a workaround in my case. Somehow the problem occurs using the ‘include_once’ function when the shortcode is called. Using ‘include’ in stead of ‘include_once’ fixes the problem in my case for now.

    Probably nine months late, but I hope it helps anyone coming across the same problem.
