shortcode not working in Internet Explorer or Firefox

I am using the following php and the shortcode to insert a slider into a page on my WordPress site:
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[espro-slider id=278]’); ?>It works in Chrome, but not in Internet Explorer or Firefox. Am I doing something wrong?
