Shortcode not working in custom Woocommerce Tabs

I’m developing a Woocommerce based site with a theme that includes custom tabs on the single product pages.
I want to use a shortcode to change the information in these tabs in on go, and your plugin works fine everywhere on the site apart from in these custom tab boxes.

Is it possible I need to register the shortcodes your plugin creates in order for them to be recognised in these custom tab boxes?
The theme dev seems to think there is no reason why the shortcode should not display the content correctly.
The content is a simple HTML table BTW.
