I went to the post and inserted the shortcode. I checked in preview mode and saw that there was a narrow red rectangle on the page where I wanted the ad to show up. When I saved the post and checked again, all I saw was that narrow red rectangle. (I don’t have a screenshot of this because I don’t want my visitors to see it while I’m troubleshooting.)

What should I be seeing on my post? Did I not set something correctly? (It IS where I want it to be on the post, but the code isn’t showing up.) When I go to my Media.net account, I can see the code, so I don’t think it’s a flaw with the code itself.

You selected “only on selected” posts. If you use this option then you need to enable code block in each post – Ad Inserter Exceptions below the post editor.

However, since you are using shortcode you don’t need to use “only on selected” Posts option. Select “on all” Posts and put shortcodes where you need them.

Hello,

First, I don’t want the ad to show up on every post – I want to have it show up on a single post. So I believe I had the settings set up correctly? Please let me know if that isn’t the case!

Also, I’ve taken the steps outlined on the how-to guide (including disabling WP Super Cache), and I’m still not having any luck. Can you please assist me? I’ve enabled remote debugging.

If you are using shortcodes only then you don’t have to use “only on selected” setting as code would be inserted only where the shortcode is present.

“only on selected” is usually used to limit automatic insertion.

On the page listed above code block 1 is inserted, however the code doesn’t display anything.
