shortcode not pulling any events?

    not sure what is going on.

    Does this make sense to you?
    I used your sample shortcode with no changes, on a test page with no containers or anything to get in the way.

    There are about 7 events showing up on the calendar.

    nevermind. I needed to use the block, not a generic shortcode field
