shortcode not operational

Hi, the issue turned out to be in the edit function. While changing usernames, the shortcode keys were not being updated. Now it’s fixed.

Yeah, actually I’m having the same problem. I just downloaded the plugin 1 day after you posted your response – I don’t think your resolution solves my problem. Like johndtray, I have done all the steps, the videos from my channel show at the bottom of the YourChannel settings page, but when I enter the short code on my home page, nothing shows up (not even the short code text itself). My short code has remained the same as it is my channel title (not id). Here’s a link: https://www.befitpt.com.

Hi csirvatka, thank you for telling us your problem.
There is a span element with the id yrc-wrong-shortcode present in your page, which means the username in the shortcode is not matching to the one in the saved channel.

Try editing and saving it once. If it still doesn’t work it’ll be bit incovenient but re-downloading and then installing it again will work, as it cleans YourChannel options from database.

We’ll add a delete button to clean YourChannel options in the next version, which is only available in the PRO version at the moment.

Thank you! I got it working now! When you mentioned the user name not matching, I realized that when I put the channel id into the form, it automatically populated the user name field; but it put the title of the page rather than the actual user name. When I changed the field to the right user name and saved it, the short code did update correctly. I put the new short code up and all is well! Thank you!
