    Hello,

    I have entered a shortcode on this page. It displays with bullet points in front of categories and hides some of the plugin. I’m being told it has something to do with the css in my theme. Please help.

    Thank you.

    Hi @thtgyrl,

    I can’t see any bullet points or hidden elements on the page in the link you included, but it’s definitely possible that there are CSS conflicts between Miyazaki and a plugin. In that case, you’ll either have fix those conflicts by adding CSS in a child theme or in the Additional CSS field in the Customizer, or by switching theme or plugin.

    Apologies. I listed the wrong link.

    It’s find-jobs

    This is what I was told:
    Looks like you have an issue with theme or plugin, it’s trying to load some kind of CSS stylesheet at this URL which does not exist:

    @thtgyrl They are correct in that the site is trying to read the child theme CSS and Miyazaki CSS from the wrong location, but that’s likely an issue in how your child theme enqueues assets, since the CSS files are loaded correctly on other sites using Miyazaki.

    That’s unrelated to the bullets, though. They are added by the CSS in the Divi Builder plugin.

    @anilo The Style Guide for the Miyazaki theme shows that it adds bullet points to list items of unordered lists.

    Is there a way to undo that?

    @thtgyrl Miyazaki does add bullet points to unordered lists, but that style is overwritten by the Divi Builder CSS, which removes them in frontend-builder-plugin-style.unified.css at line 692, and then adds them back at line 737 in the same file. It’s not a theme issue.

    OK. Thank you.

    in additional css, is there a way to change how the cover text is displayed?

    see you can change the overlay colour but not the cover font, and it clashes currently as it’s a dark cover-text on a dark overlay.

    i noticed you can change the the .p font, which indeed changes the cover-text, but it also changed the rest of the paragraph text.

    can you isolate the cover text? ex: .wp-block-cover-text /* unvisited link */ a:link { color: white;} /* visitedlink */ a:visited { color: white;}

    support would be appreciated for this non-coder. thank you. great theme!
